Overtime, we have witnessed a steady growth from one level to another through different friends especially abroad who have been a part of this journey. We believe that the most valuable contribution that we can make is in the life of an orphan as an individual- providing love, care, support and skills which will then allow them to spread the same. I recognize that there is a tremendous need around the world, however, I also acknowledge what the impact of providing meaningful support to orphans does. It is because of this situation that I vowed in my heart that in my limited might, I would not live to see a child suffer after losing parents but would accommodate and live with them.
I felt in my heart that all the hurting children should be taken care of by the government, yet nobody cared about them. Having been raised up from a children’s home, I witnessed how children were suffering after being abandoned by their parents due to excess drinking or poverty and orphans who were left destitute after the death of their parents. Our health care is accessible to every citizen. Canada’s social safety net, while not perfect, does aid many people at vulnerable times in life.
The Lord watches over the strangers he upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. My desire to care for the less fortunate started from when I was a young boy. The Lord Upholds the Orphan and the Widow. YAH Saves Orphans and Widows is the realization of the dream to care for orphaned children and widows.
